The department of neurology was established in 1979. The capacity of the department is 45 beds, including 5 beds for the patients with vascular pathology.

The specialists of the department detect and treat:
- vascular diseases of the nervous system and aftereffects of such diseases;
- neurological signs of cervical, thoracic or lumbosacral spine osteochondrosis;
- extrapyramidal diseases;
- epilepsy and syncope conditions;
- demyelinating diseases of the nervous system;
- diseases of the peripheral nervous system;
- brain and bone marrow tumors;
- other diseases of the nervous system.
After discharge, a patient gets the recommendations of preventive care, supportive treatment and healthy lifestyle.
