The department of neurology was established in 1979. The capacity of the department is 45 beds, including 5 beds for the patients with vascular pathology.

The specialists of the department detect and treat:

• vascular diseases of the nervous system and aftereffects of such diseases;
• neurological signs of cervical, thoracic or lumbosacral spine osteochondrosis;
• extrapyramidal diseases;
• epilepsy and syncope conditions;
• demyelinating diseases of the nervous system;
• diseases of the peripheral nervous system;
• brain and bone marrow tumors;
• other diseases of the nervous system.

After discharge, a patient gets the recommendations of preventive care, supportive treatment and healthy lifestyle.
